After watching hospitals across the country make impressive gains in work-life balance, we are observing what could be worrisome declines. Based on Morehead's national database of 2010 healthcare employee survey results, employees' perceptions of work-life balance are down significantly from 2009. eading a rapidly growing business often brings me face-to-face with the same challenges confronting Morehead's clients. Few are as difficult as the challenges brought on by change initiatives. Handled poorly, trust will most certainly be a casualty of change, especially if other factors like communication break down.
