Duration:
1 hour
Description:
In this presentation, we will demonstrate how physician liaison teams can maximize their organization's effectiveness by understanding physicians' geographic-based needs.
Research has shown that when building a successful network of referring physicians, the geographic location of targeted physicians is an important factor in their satisfaction. In comparison to physicians who are located close to the hospital, our findings confirm that physicians located further away consider different factors as they form their satisfaction and loyalty with an organization.
Our research across healthcare organizations, articulated through an analysis of The Children's Hospital (Denver), illuminates the need for your organization to answer two critical questions:
What are the empirical drivers of physician satisfaction?
What is the impact of geography-distance between the referring physician and the hospital-on those drivers?
Following this presentation, you will have the answers that will enable your physician liaison teams to effectively prioritize information and target key messages to referring physicians.
